Christine "Tina" King

Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me and my journey.
I was raised by an incredible single mother and am the youngest of five children. Being "the baby" of the family came with its own lessons, mostly about hard work, resilience, and hustle. My mom made sure we were always part of something productive. From babysitting to paper routes, we provided the best service in Delaware County—and we were proud of it. She taught us early on that hard work always pays off.

My passion and drive would lead me to the Hospitality Industry. My first job was at the Ramada Inn in Essington, Pennsylvania, working as a front desk agent. I loved it and quickly moved up to Food and Beverage Manager. From there, I set my sights higher and took a leap of faith by applying to Marriott. That leap paid off—I landed the job and began my career as a Group Sales Manager. I was honored to achieve the Golden Circle every quarter and earn a place in the Chairman’s Circle for multiple years.

During that time, I experienced the greatest joy of my life—becoming a mom to my son, Zachary. I chose to shift gears in my career to be more present at home. That is when I joined Vista Convention Services, where I could still do what I love connect with people—while being home after 5. I remember telling my Boss, “I just cannot sit at a desk and wait for the phone to ring. That is not who I am. I want to be out there finding the business.”

It was at Vista Convention Services that I met my husband, EJ King. My sister Patti and my Mom always said I had the “gift of gab,” and they were right. I love people. I love meeting them, talking with them, connecting—and if I can, giving them a hug by the end of it.
 
That passion naturally led me to Real Estate. I found that same spark again—meeting new people, hearing their stories, helping them through some of the most exciting (and sometimes stressful) moments in their lives. It reminds me of buying my first home, then my second, and eventually, finding our forever home.

To me, success is putting the keys in your hands and knowing that behind those doors, you will be building memories that will last a lifetime.
